Discover Whatās Possible with Panda FlourĀ®
Panda Productions workshops are about more than learning recipes ā theyāre about understanding how to use Panda FlourĀ® as a tool to create real food at home with confidence. In small, hands-on groups, people with similar needs and goals come together to bake, learn, and support one another in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Whether itās your first time working with Panda or youāve been baking with it for a while, the moment loaves and rolls go into the oven is often met with the same reaction:
āWell⦠that was easier than I thought.ā
By seeing the process in action and understanding why things work, youāll leave not just with food to take home, but with the confidence to recreate ā and adapt ā Panda recipes in your own kitchen.

Day 1 is the ideal starting point for anyone wanting to understand how to use Panda FlourĀ® confidently at home. The format is well established and has been refined throughout the year to give you the widest possible foundation ā without overwhelm.
The day is split into two clear, practical sessions:

- Wraps
- Flatbreads
Youāll learn how to handle the dough, understand hydration and structure, and see how small adjustments create very different results.
Afternoon Session
In the afternoon, we move into versatility and creativity.
- Pastry
- Pasta
- Sweet treats
This session shows how Panda adapts across different styles of baking, helping you understand how to move from savoury to sweet with confidence.
Whatās Included
- All ingredients are supplied
- Small group setting (maximum 6 people)
- Everything you make is yours to take home āĀ bring plenty of Tupperware!
No prior baking experience is required. A basic familiarity with Panda FlourĀ® is helpful, but many people attend having never worked with it before and leave surprised by just how approachable it is.

Short version - the Day 1 workshop is a fantastic experience and well worth the money. If you are wondering āshould I ?ā, then YES, absolutely! It was the best thing I spent my council tax break on.
Long version - I went to the Day 1 workshop on Sunday and it was a truly amazing day. I was a little nervous after I booked it (you may have seen that post) but it was absolutely fabulous and I am so glad I went.
Mark was brilliant at talking us through all that we did (and we did a lot!) and it was great to meet with other people and hear about their experiences too.
I had already made a couple of variations of loaves, sticky ginger cake, parkin and hot cross buns but it was fantastic to learn how to make so many other things and understand the difference between using yoghurt vs tinned coconut milk, or butter vs olive oil.
Golden Panda Soft Rolls - lovely & light
Original Panda Loaf - seeded, no egg whites
Pitta Breads - so soft & puffy
Protein Wrap - easy & pliable, better than BFree
Golden pastry - so easy to roll, we made sausage rolls and deep filled fruit pies
Chocolate Muffins - light & chocolate
Applejacks - chewy, appley flapjacks
Golden Pasta - so easy to make, a revelation
I am still amazed at how light & fluffy the pitta bread were and how versatile the pastry was but the absolute revelation for me was the pasta. It was so easy to make and roll out. We could get it really thin with just a rolling pin, and it went through the pasta machine like a dream. I am going to dig my old one out from the back of the cupboard and start experimenting. For now I have sheets for lasagne and circles for some stuffed pasta so expect photos soon.
Loads of photos taken (I can only show 5 below) but I 100% recommend this workshop as it was a truly amazing experience, lots of fun, very informative and I am so excited by all the new possibilities, but especially pasta.
Had a great day learning how to make the best use of Panda products. It really made a difference being able to see the processes and how easy and rewarding they are to use. Mark gave us so much information and knowledge in a fun, relaxed way. I came home with lots of goodies. The cheese rolls and Bakewell tart particular highlights. Highly recommend the workshops.
I made a 6hr round trip to attend this workshop, but it was so worthwhile, a game-changer for being able to eat delicious foods again! Mark is so keen to make sure everyone leaves with tons more confidence - and tons more food! Armfuls of food packages which will keep us going for at least the next week! What an amazing product Panda is, so versatile but also very forgiving - ideal for the ānot so preciseā bakers like me. Understand far more about the product range, have bought tons. And will be back for another workshop soon.
Mark is passionate about low carb, incredibly informative, and was so patient with all of my endless questions! As a complete novice baker, I now feel fully equipped not only to recreate what we made today but also to confidently try new recipes. I took home nine different bakesāenough to fill the freezer! (I may have sampled a few once homeā¦the custard tart is a definite favourite.) Iām delighted to finally know how to make wraps after a disastrous attempt at home, and pastry is no longer scary! A fantastic experienceāhighly recommended. Thank you Mark.
