HOLY FRICKING Woweeee

Listen people, I’m the most cynical of grumpy old middle aged men, think if Jeremey Clarkson and Piers Morgan had a baby, I would be the result, and yes I am very much that ugly.
I have led a very stressful and unhealthy lifestyle up until last year where I was given an ultimatum, and so my keto journey began in earnest. As with most keto’ers, I got locked into the daily grind of meat/cauli/broc/ and spit sapping almond flour, it has been tough as I love my food.

I accepted that for the betterment of my health that I would have to sacrifice my love of good food, that is until this morning!!!!!

A wonderful soul on one of the fb keto groups typed the words ‘Panda Flour’ a few days ago and it piqued my cynicism, what was it? Dried up pandas? Something China could get some more COVID in me with? Or was it someone just taking the p%ss.

I ordered a sample pack, and a bag of flour immediately, being so desperate to have variation in my cooking once more.

It arrived this morning, neatly packaged with of course a panda emblem on it.

I didn’t hesitate, I ripped open the first sample pack (coffee and walnut mix) followed the guidance to the letter or number, threw it into my oven and sat staring at it for twenty minutes through the oven window.

A muffin emerged, but I’ve been hoodwinked before when I’ve tried this with almond flour and other otherworldly sh%te so I halted my exuberance until I had it out of the muffin tray, and voila as Macrons missus would say, there before me was an actual muffin, not a keto muffin, but a muffin like the ones I used to eat by the tray from Starbucks.

It felt, tasted, and looked like any decently baked item should, yet its macros fitted perfectly with my lifestyle.

Since this morning I have cooked a large chocolate cake, tortillas, and made my first chicken pie with pastry.

As mentioned at the start, my victor meldrew tendencies are off the chart, but I am telling you, if you are a keto’er or low carber that loves to cook and HATES every other alternative to analogue baking, then if you’re reading this review, you’ve just found the site that will provide you with ya silly wonkas golden ticket!!!!!

Panda flour is the answer to all of your keto diets failings, if you use it, you will now be able to make anything and everything again.

‘Just remember not to go mental’ I say this yet I have, couldn’t resist.

Ok(ish)

I have yet to try, and am looking forward to do so. My one issue (and I did send a message about this which was not answered) is that one packet was torn and some of it was loose in the packaging. I am concerned about shelf life and contamination.

Good value pack

Arrived promptly - I’ve made the panda bread before so am looking forward to trying some wraps, bagels & cake too. Great to have a little recipe book included and having watched Mark’s YouTube video of the sample packs I’m looking forward to trying some of the recipes out. 😊👍
