Our Panda Chocolate Cake Mix makes it easy to bake a proper rich chocolate cake without relying on the starch-heavy flours normally found in gluten-free baking.

Made with Original Panda Flour® and cocoa powder, the mix produces a soft, moist chocolate cake with a deep cocoa flavour. Use it for muffins, cupcakes, celebration cakes or traybakes — simply choose how much you want to bake and add the wet ingredients.

Simple to Make

The mix has been designed around a simple ratio, so you don't need to bake the whole bag at once.

For every 55g of Chocolate Cake Mix, add:

1 medium egg
35g soured cream (or tinned coconut milk for dairy-free)
20g olive oil or melted butter
½ tsp vanilla extract

Whisk the wet ingredients together, fold in the Chocolate Cake Mix and allow the batter to rest briefly before baking.

This makes approximately 2 portions, so simply multiply the quantities according to the size of cake or batch you'd like to make.

Storage

Store the dry mix in a cool, dry place.

Once baked, cakes can be kept refrigerated for up to 4 days or wrapped well and frozen for longer storage.
