Panda Flour®
Original & Golden – choose one, or combine both
Panda Flour® is our versatile, ultra-high-fibre, low-carb baking flour designed to give you back control of your kitchen.
Instead of locking you into pre-mixes or complicated recipes, Panda Flour allows you to build exactly what you need — wraps, cakes, breads, pastry, pasta and more — using the same core flour.
To support different styles of baking, Panda Flour is available in two versions: Original and Golden.
You can choose a single flour, or select a 50/50 split to keep both in your cupboard.
Original Panda Flour®
Light, neutral & flexible
Original Panda Flour is the foundation of Panda baking.
It’s light in texture, neutral in flavour, and incredibly adaptable.
Best used for:
- Wraps & flatbreads
- Cakes & sweet bakes
- Pancakes & batters
- Making your own Original Bread Flour blend
If you’re new to Panda Flour, this is often the best place to start — and for many, it remains their everyday base flour.
Golden Panda Flour®
Richer, structured & naturally golden
Golden Panda Flour is a rebalanced version of the Original blend, where part of the coconut flour is replaced with golden linseed. This creates a dough with more structure, improved handling, and a naturally richer flavour.
Best used for:
- Pastry & savoury bakes
- Fresh egg pasta
- Dough-based recipes
- Making your own Golden Bread Flour blend
Golden Panda is particularly popular for loaves, rolls and enriched doughs.
Choose a 50/50 split (recommended)
For added flexibility, most sizes can be ordered as a 50/50 split between Original and Golden Panda Flour.
This allows you to:
- Match the flour to the recipe
- Try both blends side-by-side
- Recreate bread flour recipes using your base flour and raising agents
Many customers choose a split once they realise how easily recipes transfer between the two.

Is Panda Flour keto / low carb?
Yes. Both Original and Golden Panda Flour are extremely low in digestible carbohydrates.
Golden Panda Flour contains just 2.6g carbs per 100g, with over 73g of fibre, making it suitable for keto and low-carb lifestyles.

Not quite. Panda Flour is far more absorbent than wheat flour, so much less is needed.
As a general guide:
- For every 100g of normal flour, use 30–35g of Panda Flour
Our recipes are written specifically for Panda Flour, which removes the guesswork and gives the best results.
How do I store Panda Flour?
Store Panda Flour like any other dry ingredient — sealed, in a cool, dry cupboard away from heat and moisture.
Can I freeze items made with Panda Flour?
Yes. Anything you home bake with Panda Flour is generally suitable for freezing, including breads, rolls, wraps and cakes. Allow baked items to cool fully before freezing.
What’s the difference between Original and Golden Panda Flour?
Original Panda Flour is lighter and more neutral, making it ideal for wraps, cakes and everyday baking.
Golden Panda Flour is rebalanced with golden linseed replacing part of the coconut flour, giving more structure and a richer flavour — perfect for pastry, pasta and bread-style doughs.
Can I use Panda Flour to make bread?
Yes. Panda Flour can be used to create bread by adding the appropriate raising agents.
Many customers either make their own bread flour blends using Panda Flour or choose a 50/50 split to keep both options available.
Is Panda Flour a ready-made bread mix?
No. Panda Flour is a base flour, not a pre-mix. This gives you flexibility — the same flour can be used for wraps one day and bread or pastry the next by adjusting the method and raising agents.
Is Panda Flour suitable for beginners?
Yes. While Panda Flour behaves differently to wheat flour, our recipes are written to guide you step by step. Most customers are surprised by how quickly they feel confident baking with it.
Does Panda Flour contain nuts?
Panda Flour contains coconut flour. While coconut is classed as a tree nut for allergen purposes, many people with nut sensitivities tolerate it well. Always check if unsure..

This flour is great for anything savory. I use it all the time specially for my cheese bases and scones which are my favourite go tos at the moment. The other thing I should point out, I like the fact that the recipes are all in grams regardless of whether they are liquid or dry.
I’ve baked a lot of bread using the bread flour but I’ve been trying a few different recipes recently using the original flour.
It is so easy to use and I’ve made both the sweet and cheese scones using the recipes on the website. They are so simple to follow and I’m really pleased with both versions.
It’s great to be able to bake gluten free, low carb treats that are lower in fat that almond flour and high in fibre so it’s actually good for me and they taste great too!
My favourite quick lunch this week has been a cup of bone broth and a lightly toasted cheese scone with butter. So easy straight from the fridge.
It may seem expensive but the cheese scones only used 85g of original panda flour so you can make quite a lot from one bag.
I absolutely love the panda pantry products as they help me continue my keto way of life whilst still enjoying food I love & making new recipes all the time.
Mark & Emma are wonderful with help on the facebook baking website and also the weekly live videos on you tube.
